You Will Need This Information When You Schedule:
1. Schedule Your Appointment
Get started by Scheduling a time and date for your appointment by going to the appointment page and selecting "Online Notary" or by giving us a calling at (240) 691-3324.
2. We will send you a personalized link
Once you receive the link, use the link to start the process. DO NOT SIGN THE DOCUMENTS before upload. Take a picture of your document or upload a PDF from your computer or a cloud storage service like Dropbox. You can upload 5 documents max at one time.
3. Attend Your Scheduled Session
Verify ID & and sign. During your virtual session, the first step is ID verification. This is either done visually by the notary or via a 3rd party. After everyone's identity has been verified, all signers will either physically or electronically sign the document(s)
5. Notarized
All done! Depending on your selected method of notarization, you will either be able to download your document directly after the session.

Just about every document which needs to be notarized in the paper world can be electronically notarized online using the Notarize platform, with a few exceptions.

If you have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN) and are currently traveling or living abroad, you can use Notarize to notarize documents for use in the United States. When you sign up, use your current US address, your most recent US address, or a US address at which you resided for an extended period of time.
